Fess up time!

So this weekend I did prettyyyy bad. I wasn't going to talk about it at all, but I do believe it'll be good for me to acknowledge everything and move on!

I was doing so great until I went to my grandmother's house to eat. There's no denying that food. From there, it was just downhill. See before this I had been eating pretty clean. So at one point this weekend I had eaten so much sugar and salt in one day, that I had actually gained 4 lbs by the next day! Of course I realized that was water retention, so I started drinking more water and eating a lot of vegetables and most of that weight came back off by the following day thank goodness! But still it is embarrassing to think I let myself do that!

So I am pretty sure I gained weight this week rather than losing it, but on the plus side, I am NOT giving up.

In fact here's a few more goals for myself:
Tomorrow I am starting T25! It came in on Saturday but the program recommends starting on a Monday so I cannot wait!!

Also I am signing up for my first Crossfit competition! It is just a local thing, but still I am very nervous and excited. It is called the 31 Heroes WOD in honor of 31 Americans killed in Afghanistan in 2011. All the money raised goes to families of military heroes that were killed in action. Also, I am extremely honored that the woman who asked me to be her partner for the WOD completed a tour in Afghanistan. She motivates me so much. I want to train hard so that I do not let her down!

Anyway I am excited for a new week, and I hope everyone is doing great!

    I get like that when I go to my in-laws. I can eat clean and healthy while I'm at home, but then when I go to my in-laws, and it's like I've lost my mind! Well, usually if I'm only there for a day or 2 I can restrain myself, but any longer and bad food just slowly starts creeping into my system. emoticon
    But, we just have to keep pushing past our choices and make our next choices better! I think it's awesome what you are doing with the crossfit competition! I'm sure you'll do great and you're doing it for an awesome cause! emoticon and yay for starting T25! So much fun! emoticon

    Have you heard of Chris Powell Choose to Lose? One day a week you are aloud and encouraged to have a free day... meaning you carb cycle eat healthy clean foods through the week and then for one day eat whatever you like...within reason that is lol. And boy does this plan work!! emoticon I LOVE IT!!
