I am getting a bit tired

I plan to sleep in a bit tomorrow morning. If you don't see me, it is because I am tired and need some down time to rest. I had a pretty exciting week last week and lots of HIGH moments - I KNOW, however that I NEED to remember that after the highs, often come some moments when I feel like "is that all there is?" or sort of a down time. Can anyone else see the roller coaster I sometimes live my life on?

For me the BEST way to balance things out is to make certain that I don't get TOO - too tired, too excited, too hungry, too thirsty, too full, too stressed, too worried, etc. I NEED to take the precaution of taking care of my WHOLE life and not keep riding this as high as it goes - I need to slow down and chill a tiny bit extra tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a totally blessed, beautiful, and totally peaceful day tomorrow - THAT is my plan and whatever I do, it will be a bit quieter and slower paced.

YES, I know what you mean. Evey hear the Billy Joel song "I go to extremes" ?
I think he wrote that for people like us.
"I'm always too high, or too low, There's no in betweens"
As I have gotten older, I seem to be on a little more even keel, but I still have my moments. Like you, I have learned to pay attention and know it is an aspect of my personality.

Hope you had a wonderful nights sleep. It is hot and humid here so sleeping isn't good. I am always up by 4 am and today is no different. Enjoy a peaceful day, as opposed to a down day, and enjoy the moments you have of even stress today.

    I sure understand what you're saying with the danger of getting too tired, too stressed, too worried, too excited, too, hungry, too thirsty, etc., etc. That all can just set us up for a big let-down, popping of our balloon, etc. I'm wishing you a wondrous night of much-deserved rest and I hope that tomorrow will be a brighter day for you, one full of a restful heart.
