tough week...even tougher one coming up.

Sunday, July 14, 2013

this week kinda sucked.
we had door installers here monday-wednesday [had 6 sets of french doors replaced plus the front door.] they were here 9 am to about 7/8 pm every day. which really messed with me.
messed up the food and the workout.

however, it actually kinda worked out because turns out i couldnt work out anyway. i had a really really bad sore on my leg--i mean bad. feverish, could barely walk, lightheaded. numerous times i debated on going to urgent care.
thankfully, it is MUCH better now and thursday/friday/saturday, i got in about 30 minutes walking each day.

the food front has been okay.
friday i weighed in at a high 138.
friday night we went to dinner at an italian place. i ate and ordered wisely.
saturday we ended up going to see world war z at the alamo and again, i ate and ordered wisely.
which is why today, im 139.

this week is painting and getting ready for my ma to come down.
she will be coming down saturday and although when bird was here, i did fine, i am terrified about my ma coming.
she likes to eat out and will not take no for an answer...

im fairly certain that every day will be lunch out.
dinners i planned on stuff that are fine for me--nothing i truly love.
anyways, thats where i am.

tonite was ice cream out.
kiddy chocolate in a cup.

Wow! You've had a lot going on. Great job making yourself a priority and ordering wisely, while eating out. Hope you had a great visit with your mom!

Sorry I'm late for checking in, really meant to do it on Monday.

What was going on with your leg? Did you get that figured out? And light headedness?

This supposed-to-be-vegetarian is asking the meatatarian-who-is-vegetarian what the heck you can choose at an Italian restaurant that would be wise. I'm still terrified of eating pasta and pizza in public.

And is it tomorrow your Ma arrives?

We are up to our eyeballs in a reno, too, the kitchen here. No kitchen for a month, but I refuse to eat out. Remodeling is expensive enough without adding in eating out, calories aside.
