2: Whole 30 Journey

emoticon Weigh In: 276.6

Feeling fairly good this morning. Last night DH came to bed with malted milk balls [whoppers] and Berry Burst Ice Cream Oreos with a large glass of milk. Of course he tried to hand me some oreos but I refused. This sure isn't easy but it will be worth it!

Breakfast: 1 banana, 4 slices turkey bacon, bolthouse farms green goodness

Lunch: 1 banana. I wasn't really hungry for anything and super tired but made myself eat the banana anyway.

Dinner: Chicken Stirfry- 1 chicken breast cut up with oriental style frozen veggies [green beans, broccoli, onion, and mushrooms], and sweet mini peppers.

Snack: Frozen Fruit. Peaches. Blueberries. Strawberries.

Rose- Still staying strong over here. Enjoyed a nice nap this afternoon.

Thorn- I slapped DH for shoving a popcicle in my face. First I told him no but the popcicle got closer. Ugh. Some support I have here, eh?

emoticon Sigh. So I spent a couple of minutes smelling the package of Oreos today. Not really tempted but reflecting on all the times that I have eaten half a package at once. Ick!

So much more difficult when you have your husband in BED with treats. Sheesh. For me the oreos don't even smell good anymore when I envision the nastiness that they are made of. Honestly having done Whole30 two times and Paleo for awhile when I read the ingredients lists that go on and on and I can't pronounce many of them and have no idea what they are, it really helps me not even WANT them and I used to be able to dip a row of oreos with milk with the best of them.

You are rockin' it!

I have a husband about as supportive of yours. I've been on this journey 14 months and have lost 62 lbs. It is possible to make your dreams come true. Great going, you!

You're doing a great job! Maybe have a talk with DH and ask him to be a bit more supportive? emoticon

Doing Great Michelle!! I'm so proud of you!! I've looked at the diet a little bit, but didn't think I could do it. I'll have to keep watch on how you are doing and then maybe I will want to try it. emoticon

Love the desire picture/saying.. soooo true..

My coach would suggest that you pair a protein with your lunchtime banana to keep your blood sugar from spiking... does Whole 9 say anything about that??

Keep holding STRONG with your hubby... does he have weight to lose?.. just curious.. just wait til you get to about day 5.. the popsicles, etc. won't even bother you..

You are doing FANTASTIC!!!
