I'm happy to be doing this challenge-it's been a while since I've done one. I plan to follow the spark diet, watching my carb intake. I tend to go over on the carbs since that is the food I like the most.
I will continue to walk every day- weather permitting. I am part of another challenge- Where are you walking to?- where I am currently aiming for walking 86 miles this month.
My sister's and I have decided to do the Avon 2 day breast cancer walk in DC in May 2014, which is 39 miles. So I definitely would like to get some weight off before then.
In August, I'm heading back to karate and kickboxing. I let my kids sports get in the way of going even though I had at least 2 nights free a week to be able to go. It became too easy to sit there and not do anything at night. So, can't wait to get back into it. Plus, kickboxing is a great workout and calorie burner!
I remember the 5% teams to be very interactive and motivating so I can't wait to get started!
