Mid-month report

For the month of July I decided to experiment with NOT logging my food into SP. I wanted to see if I would be HONEST about what I'm eating. I was curious if I would still be conscience of portion sizes. Well, I can tell you that I do better when I track my food and pre-plan my meals. I'm slipping and sliding all over the place!! This week has really been difficult. I let some foods back in my diet that I haven't had in months. There has been a definite downward shift in my mood and I'm having many cravings. This is a reminder to me that I am powerless over food. There are certain foods that I have to stay away from if I want to have sanity. For those of you who can eat whatever you want in moderation, be grateful. There are those of us who just can't do that.

Anyway, there are 2 1/2 more weeks left in this month. I'm going to press on and see if I can turn this around. I know what to do, I just need to do it!!
Most likely, I will be returning to the daily logging of my food in August.

On a positive note, I've gotten in more fitness minutes than I usually do at this time of month. I'm about 45 minutes away from 500 fitness minutes. So, for that, I'm proud. Who knows, if I push hard enough, I may can reach 1,000 minutes by the end of the month.

    It's all a journey that you have to go through and test out all waters to see what you swim best in(so-to-say). It may take months of planning/tracking all foods before you may feel comfortable to not track sometimes.

Great job with the exercising! Remember to do it for yourself and feeling great!
