I haven't weighed in for two weeks, as I was in Vancouver last week for business/holiday. I've walked at least one hour per day, so I was expecting a loss on the scale, and I'm happy with the half pound loss. I know that I also ate well (and drank!) in Vancouver, so I am pleased to have balanced this out.
The other thing that's better though is my food cravings. For the third week in a row I feel quite calm and "sober" about food. Feel better than I have in months, and this is a huge improvement.
Actually, I'm feeling so good that I went on a blind date today! It went well, in that, I'm aware he liked me. I'm not sure what I thought about him, but it's nice to be able to think clearly and not be soooo self-conscious on my date.
One step forward at a time....and I mean this literally. Each day I am finding ways to add more exercise and keep working at this. It is the summer for me to strengthen myself!
