Quiet morning reflections
Saturday, July 13, 2013
It's Saturday, and I have been awake since 6:30am. I had a very vivid dream that kind of shocked me awake and I couldn't get back to sleep. That's ok though, as I enjoy this quiet time to Spark, sip my coffee and generally plan my day ahead.
My Boo is leaving tomorrow for a week in FL with her boyfriend and his family. Plex and I will be home alone, and we are looking forward to this time as well. It's been a long time since we've just been the two of us. We have plans, of course, to do some things we just hadn't gotten around to. Things like walking around Adams National Park tomorrow and touring Peace Field. It will be nice exercise, outdoor activity, and no rushing about. I plan on packing us a picnic lunch full of good things, so it will be a nice day.
Today will be housework day. There is laundry to wash, dry and fold. Always dishes to be done, floors to be swept, rugs to be vacuumed, dusting to do. I'd also like to organize my crafting table in the living room where I have my current stitching projects set up. We'll see if I get to it, though. Boo is a wreck so I will have to help her with her packing. She's always been a nervous nelly when she takes trips. I don't see that changing anytime soon, but I have seen improvement. This time she made a checklist, which normally she doesn't. I usually make the checklists for everyone, and it doesn't go into a suitcase until it's been checked off. Yup, I am that organized about travelling!
One last note before I begin the craziness of the day. Thank you, Sparkfriends, for your hugs and kind words yesterday regarding the loss of my aunt. Words cannot express the comfort you gave me, and for which I am forever grateful. You are the best, each and every one of you!
Have a Spark filled Day!
