I've been talking about pushing through when you have stress. I am going through that right now. Friday I had scheduled an exercise session, but some work deadlines caused me to cancel the appointment. So I'm pissed I've had to do that and I'm driving home mentally rehearsing that I've got to get out in morning and exercise because I have a pretty full day Saturday. I won't let the leprechauns derail me. I get home I eat within calorie range - prepared dinner before I left in the morning.

Saturday morning arrives and I feel like the gods are against me. It's raining. What are my options - go to the gym again (been 2x already) or do a video at home or hope the rain goes away and I can exercise in the evening. In reverse order - evening exercise is not good I think I'll be tired by then and ready to rest - we're talking start time 6:30p. Video at home, don't find them intense enough really wanted to do some cardio. Gym - already done my routines there for the week - will have to repeat something.


Answer: Do video at home - some burn is better than none. Plus I can do it now and push the derail demons away.

    Excellent blog post on getting it done, sometimes when we don't want to. Pushing through relieves stress.
