Today I feel...

Anxious. First of all, the reason for this blog is it is a Spark Coach assignment. I was asked to blog about how I feel today. So anxious is how I feel.

The reason is not totally clear but I think it is partly due to the big changes is my DH's work schedule. It is playing havoc with my schedule. I keep forgetting to call him for dinner! Lol

    I don't do very well when I have change in my day. I like to get a streak & routine going a put my day on cruise. Not as many distraction doing life this way.

    I don't know if it will work for you, Susan, yet when I am feeling anxious, if I sit down and ask myself why, then write maybe three reasons, I can address each reason. Also, to maybe do some deep breathing after, and with the release of each breath, mentally let go of one of those three reasons.

    I'm like you, I don't like change either. I try to look at it on the positive side and it alot of the time can turn into a better thing. I'll be wishing that your DH schedule will actually be alot better for you all around! emoticon

    I also do not like change, even if it eventually is for the better. I've learned, however, to do a couple of things that help me accept change better. There is a lot of change that is beyond our control. If it's something you have no control over, take a deep breath, and let it go. Then I assess what I DO have control over, and I make the changes I need to do to be able to work with whatever new thing is before me. This school year we are getting a new principal, and 2 new vice-principals. LOTS of changes headed my way!! I'm mentally preparing for them now!

Take a look at DH's new work schedule. Maybe a visual reminder-a chart on the frig? would help!

    I had a field test at the eye doctor today. It stressed me out so bad I was nearly shaking when I went into the exam room afterward. This is not something I am used to have happening. Very strange. Things will straighten out for you soon.
Extra hint! Watch Keith Moore on the first morning of the SWBC. Wow!

    I'm not always thrilled with change. Sometimes it makes me anxious, even though I know that it is totally illogical.
