With the car being dead as a door nail, I ended up going on a 6 mile hike to get some stuff taken care of. I am glad I got it done for a few reasons.
1- I can now bid farewell to my stepmother, not that she was ever much of a mother, but she made my dad happy and that's all that counted. I have no more room for this woman in my life.
2- I found out that 6 miles is my absolute limit for the time being, but now I know where my limit is (if I wasn't afraid of drying up in the sun, I would have been laying in someones yard halfway back) and now I can work on improving it.
3- I am also extremely impressed that I averaged a 21'41 pace even after pushing myself to 4 miles yesterday!
4- According to my Nike app, I burned almost THOUSAND calories in 2 hours!
On a note that is not really related to my walk...I also did a good job with my eating today. *smiles*
172 days and 325.6 miles to goal!
(Edited to add that we did have a bit of a sit down....once at the bank for a few minutes getting paperwork notarized and then we stopped at Panera to get a tea for the trip back.)
