Mid-year Goal Check-in

So at work we're doing "mid-year reviews", which I hate.
But it made me think... maybe I should check in on my goals for the year and see where I'm at with them... I actually have pop-up reminders in my outlook at work that I see every Friday to help keep me reminded of my goals this year, and I even went so far as to set a custom background on my PC at work that lists my goals too. I wanted to keep them on the forefront of my mind because they are important to me.
So here's the list, and my comments:
1.) Maintain my ability to at least run 5K races
~ I have run a few 5K's this year, and I am still running on a regular basis.
2.) Explore training for a Triathlon (sprint)
~ I have run two sprint triathlons so far this year, and plan to run at least one more before the year is out. Perhaps two!
3.) Re-try the garden, with hopefully a little more success this year.
~ My garden is growing. My tomatoes look like they're on steroids (no, I don't use fertilizer), my peppers look great, corn is doing OK, as are the potatoes and carrots... the squash plants however all got mutilated by squash beetles. :(
4.) Build that fire pit!
~ This is on hiatus due to funding issues...
5.) Maintain my weight within 5 pounds of 125.
~ This is sort of being accomplished. I am actually under that 5 pound mark at 118 at the moment, but am comfortable here, so I'm OK with it.
6.) Remain active on Spark People all year long
~ Yup. Staying active!!
7.) Continue exploring dreams/options for the future.
~ This is something that is still in progress. I actually hope it will always be a work in progress.
8.) Obtain Mimi's Happy Tails certificate and get back to volunteering with her at least once a month.
~ Ok, I admit this one is probbaly not going to happen. Happy Tails wants me to re-take the orientation class ($$), and start over. Not going to happen anytime soon... and Mimi is moving out with my soon to be ex-partner... so... yeah...
9.) Continue the clean life journey - foods, products in my house, etc.
~ Yes. Yes. Yes.
10.) More pictures!
~ Working on this. Have definitely taken more, but not as many as I'd like.
11.) More new veggies and new recipes!
~ Yes! Did you know mushrooms aren't evil?? Beets are actually pretty good, and I am enjoying eating new things. :)
12.) Crochet that blanket!
~ Uh... yeah... I need to work on this. LOL. I have not sat still long enough to do this.
13.) Continue yoga classes and begin meditation on a regular basis.
~ Yoga classes, check. Meditation... definitely hasn't been a regular thing, but I am trying to make it more regular.
So... I'm definitely making a lot of progress. Woohoo!
