I'm a lucky woman to have this Hubby!

Friday, July 12, 2013

Hubby went with me to hold my hand at the Dentist yesterday.
After the DDS, we stopped for a Frosty at Wendys....and, having noticed a sewing machine store across the parking lot, I began talking about my sewing machine being OLD and I have had to put a piece of Duct tape over one of the controls to get it to stay in place etc etc...

So Hubby took me across the parking lot....then the magic emoticon
He saw that sewing machines can be $3,000 emoticon
So when I was talking to the sales clerk about one that was $150....He said "Let's buy that today"

(I am guessing he thought if I kept talking about needing a machine I might talk my way up to the $3,000 lets just cut it off at the pass and buy this today)

Oh yes, I am happy. and I sewed for 3 hours last evening!

That is neat that your husband went to the dentist with you to hold your hand. And he bought you a sewing machine, that is so sweet. emoticon emoticon You should surprise him and get him a little gift he isn't expecting. emoticon

This 'woven' quilt is for my youngest grand daughter Lydia. Birthday in December.
I had the strips prepared when her half sister Aly age 14 visited end of June. Aly selected and wove the strips completing the top. emoticon

Joyce, is that the Sew and Quilt Brother? I am looking at those at WM, but they are a little more than $ got a buy, but of course you already know that! My "reward" for my BLC challenge is a new machine, and the one that I had in mind is way more $$$, but I think I am going to get this one if you give it a good review!

Thank you so much for sharing!
