Lots of chicken this week!!! I got two whole roasting chickens from the local farm, and several dozen fresh pasture eggs, as well as one lb of cured, sliced ham. I am getting some local heirloom tomatoes in my Green Bean Delivery next Thursday.. can't wait for those.

PREP (today):
Breakfast Sausage recipes.sparkpeop

Chicken Stock (freezing half, using half to make chicken, carrot, and kale soup)

Hard Boiled Eggs

Steamed Asian Chicken (Breasts) recipes.sparkpeop
(just the chicken and not the veggies this week, saving it in the fridge for salads)

Iced Green Tea

Sat: Coq Au Vin (Chicken Thighs & Legs)

Sun: Filet mignon, bacon wrapped asparagus, French onion soup

Mon: Steamed fish, zucchini, green onion, carrots, red pepper, and lemon with loaded baked avocados

Tue: Slowcooker Cashew Chicken (Thighs & Legs) picketfencepaleo.

Wed: Slowcooker Kimchi Chuck Roast (carrots, potatoes, onions, grass-fed chuck roast, kimchi, vegetable juice)

Thu: Grilled Shrimp and Lime skewers over Mixed Greens w/ heirloom tomatoes. Marinade/dressing made of chile garlic, cilantro, lime, and mint.

Fri: Grass-fed Beef Tacos and Black Beans, Guacamole

Treat: Steamed Matcha Cake (using maple sugar instead of splenda, with a piece of dark chocolate in the center) thebaconthief.blo


My philosophy: always have good food leftovers in your fridge and you'll never want to "cheat" on your meal plan. Nothing goes to waste, because the bf eats like a ravenous bear. :)
