Photos from Naples day

Friday, July 12, 2013

Sure is good to be home accept for when we tried to put the dogs together again (they have been kept separated) and they once again attacked each other. Geez, crazy as they have lived together for years now with no problem. Morgan has one of those cones on her head to keep her from opening up her stitches. I am supposed to take her to the vet today. I will focus on finding a new home for PITA. It's a shame as both dogs are sweet dogs alone and make good pets but together it's not going to work. I will first try and get my gardener to take Pita and I will pay him for food and such. He does love PITA. If not I might have to take her to the "doggie farm" where a woman has all kinds of street dogs and such. I will have to pay to have her go there. The one thing I know is that I can't live with the stress of trying to keep them separated all the time so they do not kill each other. Morgan was our first adopted street dog and is around 6 years old so I feel she was here first so we need to keep her. It is stressful but I will have to work something out. Welcome home, hun!

I am adding photos from the day we went to FT. Myers for the Edison Winter home and then Naples. I hadn't been to Naples in like 40 years. I used to go to Ft. Myers in the summer to stay with my grandmother and at the time was a teenager. We used to have great beach parties on all the open beaches in Naples. Wow was I shocked....not many open beaches anymore as it's condo city. So sad in a way. The old part of Naples still looks nice but those high rise things just aren't my style. I guess the price of progress.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.
