Another Challenge- Cow Appreciation Day

Friday, July 12, 2013

Today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A gives free food to anyone who dresses up as a cow and comes into their restaurant, and you don't even have to go, pardon the expression, whole hog, you can just wear part of a cow costume and you will receive one of their entrees.

More than just free food, it's a genius marketing tool that people look forward to every year. The DH and I stumbled into Cow Appreciation Day one time when we were travelling, and it was awesome, and even a little surreal, with a restaurant full of the strangest conglomeration of people.

The mood was festive, as if everyone recognized the absurdity of what they were doing, but Cows Just Wanna Have Fun.

Even if you aren't dressed up, it's wonderful to behold...

And Chick-Fil-A can fit into a Spark food plan!

Unlike Slurpees (from yesterday)... emoticon

If I knew ahead of time, I would go just to see the costumes. How fun.
