I did not take a before picture back in November when I started back to my weight lose journey with Spark People because I was really mad at myself for gaining weight. I had been at my goal weight for several years and with my Life Journey taking me away from My Sunshine State and Running Buds I let Depression take hold, which lead to weight gain. I stopped running after having surgery and I think my metabolism had a hard time adjusting. I think I was gaining about 5 lbs a week which made me even more depressed. After getting on the scale last year after Thanksgiving, I said no more. I guess that was my AHA moment to get back on track. So now I have lost 23 pounds and want to at least loose 17 more. I still have not been able to get my running motivation back but have at least increased my fitness minutes to about 60 - 80 minutes a day and taking rest days. I use to run about 6 - 9 miles a day with a long run on Saturdays. I still plan to get back to running and I signed up for a race in FL next year as my goal, push motivator. Today will be kick boxing and some Cardio. It will be a Rainy weekend so mostly indoor work outs. TGIF!
