I can still hear my mom telling my brothers and I “eat your vegetables so you will grow up to be big
”. So today, I want to share a “new to me taste” for three of my favorite vegetable.
I love Cherubs Tomatoes
in salads, but did you know that they are great by themselves? I love them at room temperature (the package suggests not to refrigerate) washed, and eaten like grapes. DELICIOUS.
One of my water aerobics classmates told me to stir fry my cabbage coleslaw for a “different side dish”. So I prepared the coleslaw and added peanuts for a wonderful lunch with protein. DELIGHTFUL
Hubby and I are adding more colorful vegetables to our diet so we are eating spinach at least once a week in addition to other colorful vegetables. I stir fried our spinach. To our spinach, I added green onions and garlic. We ate all of the spinach the first night (usually the dish taste better the next day); we cannot tell you if this is true. SOOOOO GOOD
