not much to show

Friday, July 12, 2013

I didn't show the work going on of the kitchen makeover (I don't have many photos), so I'll do that now
first the window was replaced with double-pane and a larger size than the original (later all the windows got switched out, but by a window companies' crew)

hubby's workspace, the back porch

and lastly the gutted kitchen being worked on

Quite the organized mess there. emoticon It reminds me of when we moved into our new house. Walls and roof were up, kitchen was installed, bathrooms and bedrooms were mostly finished, but the main room was not finished. And so it remained while my husband, brother-in-law, and son finished it off. It was finished in five months except for some minor touches like the facing for the fireplace.

I hope you are as happy with it as I am with mine. emoticon

It takes a lot of talent to do that kind of construction. Has your hubby always done construction? Love a handy hubby!!!!
