The following does not contradict information shared in “Tidbit #4”, concerning drinking water at a certain time of day maximizing its effectiveness on the body: i.e. One (1) glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion.
Still, an experiment contradicts the theory that drinking water before a meal will help one feel fuller &, thus, help one eat less & drop pounds.
A MRI body scan revealed that, when one drinks water, the stomach stretches & signals the brain that it is full. However, the water passes straight through the stomach & does not stretch the stomach for long; thus, the full feeling does not last for very long.
The MRI body scan, also, revealed that when the stomach is stretched with solid foods, it takes time to break that food down &, thus, gives one a fuller feeling for a longer period.
That is not where the information ends, because there is another fascinating theory that water can aid in weight loss.
