4 Steps to Lasting Behavioral Change
We have come to the end of our 10 steps to end emotional eating. It has been an amazing journey filled with ups and downs. I really feel I have learned a lot in blogging this series and I hope you have as well.
The last step discusses the 4-stage learning process called "Praxis".
Observing through self awareness and self monitoring in order to figure out what needs to change from your program.
Analyzing using non judge mental critical thinking skills to find out what's going on underneath the surface.
Strategizing and thinking about what your future looks like using creative thinking in order to create the steps needed to be successful.
Action using process thinking. Process thinking is about becoming your own best motivator, coach, cheerleader and fan, all rolled into one. And that means getting to know yourself well enough to know what works for you and what doesn’t.
The best way to manage these steps is through journaling.
So there you have it. Create a vision, strategize what needs to happen to see changes and implement them. Deal with stress and don't beat yourself up over missteps. Above all, I honk its important to remember that its a journey and sometimes, the trip is as fun as the destination. Live life, enjoy life and make a change.
