A New Long Term Goal...

Thursday, July 11, 2013

I love goals. If you look at my past blogs, they are filled with weight goals, running goals, food goals, you name it!

I have been kinda lacking in a long term goal. I like having something to work towards, and knowing I won't make my July 21st goal has gotten me kinda down.

But today we received a "Save the Date" for a friend of the family's wedding. To be more exact, he's like a "god brother." His parents are/were my God parents. We are also really close with them as well.

The family was super excited when Jackie, my God mother decided to move to a "active living retirement" neighborhood (The popular Sun City) that is close to us. In fact, occasionally my mom delivers her mail! Hehe.

So the wedding is on February 22, 2014. This gives me a date, a timeline, and an incentive. Maybe my old childhood friends Michelle and Kevin might be there.

Plus it's a goal. I need that. So now I have something to work towards.

On other news, I will start looking for a job after my trip to SA, and I am scared! But I need to do something.

Well that's it! Have a good one!

Yay! My father's wedding definitely kept me on track last year now I'm just floating without an official goal, so I know what you mean.

Good luck on the job search! What type of field (job) are you looking for?
