Re: Update

Pool is full, and was actually swimming again for the first time in many years. Okay, so it's only four feet deep. So the ladder is a major pain on my knees. It's worth the pain to get into the water(my natural element.
Our annoying house guest has been gone for the past week. She's like the thing that wouldn't leave, or shut up, or mind her own business or let us mind our own.
At first, I liked her. I was okay with her trying to help out. But her narrow minded beliefs, and near abuse of the kids was making everyone unhappy, THREE MONTHS AGO.
We asked her to leave, then. She kept making excuses etc. Even got herself beat up so we'd let her stay longer.(She wasn't that hurt, and she admitted she'd done it apurpose)
Up until a point, I could have stayed friends, but she pushed it well past that point, and so, if/when she shows up again, if she doesn't pack up her stuff and leave, we're likely to throw her out.

Just concider the source. And don't let her get to you, she isn't worth your time.

Glad you got in the pool makes me feel better when I get in and work out. You and your family need to be happy and this person sounds like she need more help but not from you.

I've had a house guest like that and when she left half of my things went with her. I did recover most of it. Have never regretted asking her to leave and she is never welcome back. I am sure you will be much more relaxed with her gone! Good luck!
