So about a month ago I was 188 and for a few weeks I've been fluctuating 184-183. Today I stepped on the scale...182! I know it's not much but I can't help but celebrate. It has been weeks since I had seen a number other than the 184-183 scale and I hope that means I'm back on a weight-loss track!
One of my mini-goals is to hit 180 and to be honest, I may cry from joy for hitting that mark. I have been this size for months and to finally be saying goodbye to this weight is such a relief. But not time to celebrate too much just yet, I have two more pounds to go before I hit my goal and I want to stay motivated to reach all my goals.
Since I couldn't make it to the gym yesterday, I spent about half an hour doing some exercises with my dumbbells and then finished with trying the plank for the first time. Even though it wasn't a full gym workout, I felt refreshed and proud for spending that time for myself. Being a stay at home mom, I spend most of my time with my toddler, Iris, and when I can take half an hour to myself, it is a much welcome respite.
Anyway, today is a new day and a gym trip will be in order a little later on. Maybe this time next week, I may be even less than 180! Wouldn't that be awesome?!
