I'd walk a mile or two,

Thursday, July 11, 2013

climb 10 foot fences several times and wade through shoulder high
corn to find the goats. Somehow, somewhere, they found a way to
visit the neighbor's soybean and corn fields. DS and I walked
clear to the east into the cornfield, doubled back to the west side
of the property, then back east to find out they had come back
in and were laying in the shade of the barn. A definite workout
in 30 minutes. Those little ladies were just seeing what we were
made of LOL!. DH hung back and let the boy and I do the serious
walking. Little Man decided mom was way too fast walking and
ran to try to keep up. And he takes longer steps than I do.
They are now safely in the middle lot and will stay there
for a few days to repent. Plus, give us time to make repairs.
The balmy day, combined with a great breeze, made perfect
weather for an unexpected activity.
Home for lunch and now back to work. Enjoy the rest of your
day and thanks for stopping by. HUGS!

Were they testing the phrase "the grass is always greener . . . . ?" I hope they discovered that they already had it pretty good where they were and didn't need to escape!

Just another day at your house, looking for new exercise opportunities. . . .

Those little "she-devils" just wanted to see what you could do- emoticon
My father-in-law "borrowed" a white faced bull once and he had black angus cattle. Bull took one look at those ladies and ran thru fences to get away! Chased him all over the neighborhood-can still see f-i-l in the back of the truck while m-i-l drove and him trying to lasso the bull! Your story brought that memory back!

Sorry the girls were so hard on you, my friend, but they did provide a nice bit of fitness!!! Sounds like lovely weather except for the "balmy" part? Not a fan of high humidity, myself.
We are cloudy and cool-ish today, but the humidty, while not overwhelming, is apparent! Had to turn on the a/c to combat it! hehe
Hope you had an enjoyable, healthy lunch and a great rest of the day!!! (((HUGS)))
