When I hear preachers preaching from the old covenant about the Ten Commandments which is the Law and the Law does bring condemnation because there is no way anyone could ever have kept the entire Law The Ten Commandements except for Jesus.
People who do not yet have Jesus in their own heart don't need to hear about condemnation, they already know they are sinners and that they are already condemned, they know this in their heart but will argue that what they are doing and how they are living isn't all that bad and after all they know many people who call themselves Christian doing the same things that they are doing and living the same way that they are living.
What they need to see how much they are loved by Jesus by how we act towards them.
Are we acting in the love of Jesus? Are we talking in the love of Jesus? Are we condemning them also?
Love does cover and over come a multitude of sin.
Living in love towards all people all the time will win many to the cross of Jesus if they can see His love demonstrated in us and through us.
People watch us especially when we claim to be Christian and they want to see what being Christian really means by watching us.
We really are walking and living letters and epistles opened up to be read by all the world so let us keep on living and walking this life in the love of Jesus.
By doing this eventually we can tell them about the grace of Jesus that leads to the free gift of being made the righteousness of Father God because when we come to Jesus to ask Him into our heart we are then given His new nature in place of our old nature of sin.
Let us walk in love, mercy, grace, truth and forgiveness so many can be won to the cross of salvation which leads to the resurrection power living on the inside of us with Holy Spirit living on the inside of us forever more.
I have learned by trial and error and revelation to keep Jesus which is love and grace in the forefront of my living and thinking and not to speak of condemnation but of forgiveness and healing and protection and His love and grace that He has set aside for each and everyone of us once we use our own free will to come to the cross knowing that a Savior is needed.
