I am really working hard this week at keeping within my calorie range and there is one small but wonderfully delicious temptation that is not helping - the office candy bowl.
The team I work on has lots of great people on it and occassionally during the year when stress is high, one or more of us bring in goodies to share. And I have done my share of that (how else do you indulge in enjoying baking cookies or muffins, but keep yourself from eating them all?)
But this week, the bowl is full of Lindt truffles. They are hard to resist......but did I mention that each one has about 70 calories. One would be fine, but 3 feels usually more like it - but that's like eating half a dinner : (
So yesterday I allowed myself one. Today I wrote myself a note - a glass of wine with dinner would be much more enjoyable. We'll see how it turns out, but so far, so good.
