Day 11

It's now midday on day 11 and I'm feeing blah. I woke up achy and just not quite feeling right. I'm not going to over push myself today but I have so much to do along with getting my workout in at some point. At least dinner tonight is left overs so that makes things a bit easier.

On the bright side. I have to pack for an over night trip to Cincy for a business party so I guess that is some sort of extra workout, right? I was at the mercy of the pre planned menu at dinner as I found out a couple of days ago. Since we're having a large party at a nice restaurant (and it's on the company dime) they gave us three menu options to choose from. Our options were chicken breast with crawfish, steak, or tuna. My boyfriend chose the tuna and I chose the chicken breast so we can have a taste of each other's meals. I really hope I don't go too far over my calories tomorrow night eating that yummy meal.

I did go over last night, pretty bad too. Once I worked out the total calories for the meal I had planned I realized it was super high cal. Sadly it was already later than I like to eat so I didn't have time to adjust things I just had to go with it. (Maybe that's why I feel blah today) I felt bad eating the meal but I also didn't have much in the house to change the meal around either. Note to self, next grocery run get more stuff LOL. I'm going to have to try my hardest to burn some extra calories tonight.

I'm looking forward to the gym at our hotel. I enjoy my walk/sprints on the treadmill but it'll be nice to change things up a bit. That and I know i have to burn some extra calories due to the dinner we'll be having on Friday night AND the lunch we'll be having on Saturday. I know I'm going to get lectured by my SparkFriends for this but I'm having a VERY bad lunch. I know it's bad but I'm doing it anyway and here is the reason. I'm eating at what used to be one of my favorite places before I moved out of Cincy. Since I don't get back there much at all I'm taking advantage of being there and having a grand lunch. What is this place you may ask, well it's Isadore's Pizza. They aren't one of these chain stores that you find everywhere. They are a little pizzeria found in Camp Washington. Oh yeah, almost forgot about Camp Washington Chili (we're getting a cheese coney from there). So my lunch will consist of cheese or pepperoni pizza, deep fried corn nuggets, possibly part of a steak or fish hoagy and a cheese coney.

Yeah, yeah...I know it's wrong and I shouldn't do it but I'm prepared to face what comes after such a meal. Killing myself in my workouts. I'm not one to routinely give myself a cheat day when it comes to calorie intake but I have to make an exception on this one. That being said, I should go hit my mini stepper and finish folding my laundry. Have a great day everyone!

    Thanks for posting. I have those days, too, where I go over the "allowed" calorie and fat count, but am learning, oh YEAH, that I can tack on more to the walking and running and burn it off.
