1lb down...

I weighed in at 138. Great. So i am on my way. I am hoping that I will not deter myself this time. I'm going to drink my broth...one cup in the morning and one mid day and see what happens. I'm drinking tons of water...so I should no blow up like a blowfish...I hope. lol I did not do my hip hop abs..too lazy...but I did get up on Wednesday to alternate betweeen my walk/run on the tread for an hour to make up for Mon and Tues. workout that I did not do. I did the 30 minute alternate today. I was trying to see how I could make my treadmill workout more challenging and from what I read it appears interval periods of walking and running is the way to go. So we will see what happens. I did come across the squat plan as it is called which just really piqued my interest. It's where you do squats and supposedly you can lose 10 lbs in a month. The only thing I can say about it is that your muscles would get stronger or you would build muscle which in turns burns fat. I'm not a 100% believer that you would lose 10 lbs just from doing squats unless you do them for 4 hours a day....I guess. Interesting to say the least. Then I came across this medifast add and started reading all of the testimonials...someone lost 25 lbs in 6 weeks..40 lbs in a month...blah blah...so there I go jumping on the bandwagon..saying I could do this but I had to give myself a reality check. Am I wiliing and able to spend that amount of money purchasing their food...Hmmm probably not. Then...yes I was on a roll last night...my OCD was in full affect...lol I saw a story about the singer chaka khan and how she went from looking like she was about 275 to looking like she was 125 lbs... She drank liquids with something called vitamin x for 2 months or something like that then she became a vegan along with exercising that is how she was able to get off of blood pressure pills and diabetis meds. Some people think she had the weightloss surgery but she said she did not. It was a year long process which worked out for her in the end. So there I go thinking I could possibly drink liquids for a month...hmm definitely not. lol So I had to let my OCD rest for a moment...lol She does look very good compared to before photos. I have to give it to her regardless of what people are saying she made a big sacrifice to get healthy and I give her props for that. Well let me get ready for my westerns...I have 70 Gunsmoke's recorded on my DVR and about 10 Rawhides...I've stopped taping except my BIg Valley...I love westerns courtesy of my daddy. Well enjoy your day.
