a 15 minute desk workout, 10 minutes of upper and lower body stretching, and the 20 minute Kathy Smith Yogilates DVD extended to 30 minutes! So all told this morning I have 104 minutes of exercise total! I plan to do 45 minutes of walking about an hour after I eat my dinner and round 930pm I will have my last meal of the day which is lunch. I am going to have my snack now because I had breakfast round 330-4am and yeah its time for a little something.
I'm trying to turn myself around and do most of my exercise in the morning so I can handle just walking in the evenings. I do like all my exercise and I'm getting into the strength training aspect, starting out with 3 times a week at 30 minutes because anymore and I'd be toast lol. I've done yoga 2 times already and strength training once.
I tried to exercise yesterday but I just rested I couldn't hang honestly. I take my rest days when my body tells me to once a week. If I tried to plan a certain day I'd be too energetic that day and just go do it anyhow. So yeah, I just slept, ate, rested, worked and that was it. I couldn't tell you everything I ate but I know I did pretty well and just about stuck to my Spark Points in the nutrition tracker. I may have eaten something else for dinner because I didn't have the energy for cooking at all. Oh yeah I ate gumbo which was more soup than the rice. I think I had 2 1/2 cups. When I eat dinner I'm pretty hungry honestly. I usually get in round 550 calories or so. Breakfast and Lunch are in the 300-400 range and snacks aren't too bad either.
So I'll see how it goes with the turn around after a few days and I'll see if I can't keep it going properly. I can always switch back right if it kills me but I think I'll be okay.
I have all my SP Points for the day and I just have dinner, lunch and finishing a 40 minute walk later and I'm set to go. I figured out my strength training video for tomorrow as well.
I want to go on a hike soon I'll have to ask my dad if he feels up to it. Maybe up the mountain at the nearby park or over to Red Rock for a few hours?
I have walking and strength training tomorrow, OH JOY. I'm thinking an hour walk in the morning and in the evening a thirty minute walk and strength training and maybe a little aerobics or some form of dancing for 10-15 minutes, sounds good~
Edit--the nutrition tracker, I switched to the new style and when I finished my exercise a little bit ago, it said you can eat more today. It updated my calories range to 2000-2300. I really could not eat that many calories in a day seriously now. I burned danged near 700 calories today with walking and videos. It would have been more but it was yoga and stretching day vs. strength training and cardio day!
