Love of food

Thursday, July 11, 2013

Today on Sparkcoach, my task was to blog about my food - whether it was healthy or unhealthy? For the most part it is healthy, but last night I had quite a few calories left so we took our son to Wendy's for dinner. I decided to have the chicken grill sandwich and fries instead of a salad! I knew calorie wise, I could afford this treat! But it did not sit well! It had been 2 months since I had had fries etc and it felt like lead in my stomach and I had terrible burping!!! I am not used to eating like this and I will not be doing it again! The good thing is, I did not have any soda, so I have been 2 months without Dr P :)

There are foods that do that to me, so I've learned to avoid them. People that are not trying to eat healthy have no clue as to what we are talking about when we say this. Great job on not drinking Dr. P!

Your blog turns out to be like the same thing that happened to me. I ate fried food that I have stayed away from for quite awhile. Felt bloated etc. I will not be doing this again too soon. Have a great day.

It's just crazy isn't it? What I notice now is how salty everything tastes.

Recently when I went to a potluck for a wedding, the only meat they had was covered in BBQ sauce. I noticed that when I ate it, that it was also sitting like lead in my stomach. I figured I would give it a rest and eat some veggies which helped my tummy. I'm guessing the BBQ sauce was too potent.

Did you notice you ate faster? It's weird, but I find if I get a fast food meal, I actually seem to stuff it down so that the guilt is twice as bad. One that I ate high fat food and one that I ate so fast I did not really enjoy the sin.
