So yesterday afternoon I had a craving for a cupcake. Yes, I know it's not the best option to crave but it was there. So when hubby & I went to Walmart after work I picked one up, we had some stuff to do around the house when we got home... so I stuck it in the fridge with the intention of eating it later.
Well by the time I got done doing everything that I needed to do I was all sweaty (working outside in the Texas heat will do that to you!!) so I showered first, then I ate dinner by then I didn't want it anymore.
LOL yes I know they say distraction is the best thing for cravings & I know it's true but I just thought I'd share that I was overcome eating a whole cupcake (it's the cake part that I wanted, not so much the frosting). I did however cave and have 4 spoonfuls of ice cream when I made the kids an ice cream cone.
In the end I consider it a victory. Everything in moderation. LOL it could have been worse. I could have had an ice cream cone but chose not to!!
