I have been alternating two pairs of running shoes for my morning walk/run and yesterday I felt the shoe rubbing when it's been fine for the past month. Well today a quarter size blister broke on my heal. Cut my hour long walk in half. I finished the c25k and then stopped. I will have to get my steps in later today and should with another busy day. I am not as tired today and could have done my last thirty minutes but then would I have walked tomorrow. Taking care of the blister and catching up later today made more sense.

I will not do VBS tonight but have everything set up for those who will. I have a monthly adoption group that I am the leader for and it's tonight from 6-8 pm, which I forgot about until Tuesday when I got a message from someone about group! So change in plans for tonight but will be back for the final night tomorrow.

Have a great day every one!

I remember one time I was breaking in a new pair of shoes, and they rubbed the skin off on my ankle. When I took my shoes and socks off, there was a piece of black fuzz on the sore and I thought it was a bug. I ran around the house screaming like a crazy person because I was convinced there was a bug eating my skin.

When my mother finally got me calmed down and made me realize it was a fuzzy, I felt like a fool. Although, her and my dad still laugh about it. I was 15 when it happened.

I agree with the poster who said about the blister bandaids - they work very well

One thing to check out for blisters that has helped me is blister bandaids. They sell them at CVS and other drug stores. You leave them on for several days and they stay on in the shower. They have a healing effect. They have worked for me in the past. Hope your foot feels better!
