Strength Training

Well, I am sure it is all in my head - but since I started I feel like my body is more put together. If that makes any sense. I also notice that I am standing taller and feel much better both inside and outside. I am sure a lot of it is psychological and not really happening - but psychologically it is good if it helps keep me moving! I already feel like the pounds and inches are falling right off!
So glad I started and am glad I have ocean_mist to do it with me!

    I loved this blog! It probably is NOT all in your head (your body is just responsive to what it needs), but even if it were, it wouldn't matter! If you feel better, then you FEEL BETTER! Yeah, I know, terrible truism. But if this is all about becoming more healthy, then whatever it takes to keep us on that road is a beautiful thing.

    You are so right about feeling much better both inside and outside. I have been taking a break from strength training since the end of May. I think you just inspired me to get back at it!

    I know what you mean!! I DO feel stronger, better even though it is only the first week! AND I felt a high of sorts doing the weight training. The STRENGTH training is giving us STRENGTH!

    I think you are right-you are probalby feeling more coordinated, I also notice I am taller (think my core is doing a better job of holding me up). BUT, the mental piece is so important-keep those positive thoughts flowing!!
