gained another kg

Strange. Gained another kg on the scale - yet my clothes don't feel tight. My flab isn't hanging from my back - it's firm - what gives? I know I'm not maintaining properly - hence the gain, but it's adding something invisible - kg on the scale, none on the body?

I'm probably in the best shape every. if I do say so myself.

I'm confused.

Oh well. Onwards and upwards.

    Muscle weighs more than fat! Its true, but it takes up alot less space. Perhaps you are seeing some fat/muscle redistribution weight as your body composition changes from weight lifting. I stayed the same weight after I began lifting but went down 2 pants sizes. So there ya go! emoticon

    I had that happen so I thought all was fine but it does catch up in the end. That is why i try not to ignore the scale as it gives an early indication.

Maintenance is not easy. And I thought losing was the hard part!!!

Hang in there, we will figure it out - if we can lose it we can figure out how to maintain it!!
