Animals can be so funny!

Armadilloís always give birth to 6 babies and they are all the same sex. They are kind of dopey and donít really acknowledge anything that is going on around them. Thatís why DH was able to go up to one and pet it. I don't think we have them here but nine banded armadillos can / will jump up to 6 feet high if you scare them. That must be a sight to see!
When we first moved into our house, it wasnít even close to being finished and barely livable in. We had been living with my in-laws while my FIL finished building the house and so as soon as we could we moved into it. At that time there wasnít any yard so to speak. We didnít have an area fenced in for the dogs and no patio yet. Anyway, shortly after we moved in we had a bobcat that would come up to the front door and stare at the outdoor light. It was a motion detector light and it was fascinated that with it. It would turn on when it came close to the house. So, it would come and stare at the light until it went off. Then it would get up to leave because it went off and it would turn on again. It did this several nights in a row until it decided that it was bored with it I guess. As you can tell having a motion detector light out here wasnít a good idea. Even after we got a fence put up we got rid of that light because rabbits and other small animals would still come into the yard and turn it on in the middle of the night.
We have two cockatiels and one of them (Comet) always gets into the bottom of one of the cupboards and plays fort with his brother (Daffy Duck). That is, Comet is the General of the fort and his brother isn't allowed into the fort! Daffy will poke his head in every now and then to irritate his brother on purpose. If Daffy gets in by some chance without Comet realizing it then all he!! breaks loose and Daffy, if he isn't quick enough, will get a bite on his behind!! So, yesterday morning they were playing fort and Daffy closes the cupboard door on his brother so he can't get out! I just laughed and laughed over that!
My hubby's cousin has a black German Sheppard (Nicki) and a Pit Bull (Andi). They're both female and she'll put a tutu on Andi and pink boa around Nicki. It's hilarious to see! She has an invisible fence so that she can let them out without worrying about them wandering off. It's happened twice now where Andi has gotten a little too close to the invisible fence and Nicki has pushed her into it! So, she gets a shocked each time this happens!! So funny!
