Day 20 and end of Juicing #2

This was a very difficult decision to make.
But today after I drank an avocado in my juice and then proceeded to eat 2 more I realized that there is really something lacking in my body. Not sure if it is the increased exercising, stress or the darn mega dose of vitamin D the dr has put me on. Well I have never ever had a craving for Fat like this.
Also monthly friend is due i a couple of days...

Anyway- I am adjusting the plan. Had veggie soup with veggies and I will give my body a few days to figure out what it needs and then will revisit what the next step will be.

It is tough not to feel like a failure, even though I know I am not. My perfectionist alarms are totally going off. Tapping on it.
Hope tomorrow will be a better day.

    RisingBlueStar. You are totally right, and that is what I thought too.. but the stupid mega dose of Vitamin D is what is messing me up. I still have to take it for 2 more weeks. Then Another blood test and we will see what happens.
Stress has been bad these past 3 weeks... and it is all emotional. Plus work picked up which is good.. but it is stress to get things done in a timely fashion as Time is of the Essence in my business.
And yes... TOM is about to arrive. Thought it would be here today, and it still might make it lol it has a few hours left to the end of the day.

    sometimes our bodies can only adjust so long to things like juicing. I am not saying you don't get enough nutrients and I am not knocking it or anything like that. Your body will always tell you when something is wrong and if something's up or if needs a change. Maybe you just need to increase your calories slightly or drink one less juice and add one more regular snack or meal.

Stress can do a number on anyone but I would also make sure you don't have anemia. It can make you feel odd like something is not right. Headaches, dizziness, fatigue and just this feeling to where you don't feel right and on top of it you are pale and it is difficult to exercise. Try adding some iron pills. Just be careful. You can't take them too close to your vitamins. Check all the labels on any meds you take and make sure you don't take them too close together. Also, research them and see if there are any foods you should avoid while taking them.

T.O.M. can cause cravings even a couple of days before so it may just be due to that.
There are a lot of possibilities.

Listening to your body is definitely not failing.
Tell the perfectionist inside of you that nothing is perfect. Life is full of ups and downs and things are always changing. Your rational side is aware of all of this. You just have to get it to speak louder than the part of you that strives for perfection.

    No worries Jill. I know you have your hands full. It is very frustrating when the scale doesn't move as fast as we want it. The important thing is that we are working towards our goals. Don't rush to read the blogs :) They will still be here over the weekend too. XOX emoticon

    Thank you NyMorning. Today was a much better day. It isn't easy to listen and cater to what the body wants as I have been used to denying things all these years. So it is a big leap of faith that this honoring will help. I am trusting the universe on this. Thank you for reminding me of all the things I have achieved so far. I tend to focus on the negative sometimes emoticon

    I am checking in.... I have been so crazy busy, signed into my email today and had 150 emails!! had to come check on you, so smart to listen to your body.
I'm still trying to make good choices whenever i can. the scale hasn't moved and with all of the traveling and company is a really, really good thing. ive got two more days of travel and then i'm back at it. i haven't disappeared and don't have time now to read your blogs, but i will.
hope tomorrow is better for us both.

    Sounds like a good decision, Ven. You have done a great job - look at how much easier this round of juicing was in so many ways .... because you laid the groundwork the first round. I know lots came up for you but you're dealing with it instead of turning to food to comfort you. So ... I'm sorry you've had such a challenging time of late but I'm so happy for the progress you've made. Hope you have a good night and a great rest. emoticon
