7/10/13 Wed Find time to exercise

Today I amazed myself. I had to pick my husband up at the bus station but his bus was late, instead of just sitting in my car and waiting for him I decided to walk around the parking lot. I thought well I will walk for 10 minutes but when I finally looked at the clock I had walked 40 minutes and that was exactly the time my husband got off the bus. I was not prepared I was wearing flip flops but that did not stop me, I just thought to myself just move a little. I didn't care how fast I went but I did a decent pace and I am proud that I did it. This is the new me! The old me would have just waited in her car the new me saw an opportunity to put some movement in this body. I am slowly changing my ways. It feels good.

My meals are also starting to look different. More vegtables less meat and potatoes. Another change to get me towards my goal. I can do this! I will do this! emoticon
