Last week I did so badly - because my dear, sweet, wonderful hubby was home due to the rain.

Everyday, he brought me Hardee's biscuit & gravy (because he knows I love them), usually wanted to go out for lunch, and took me out for a vanilla ice cream cone every night.

I worked out every day, so it didn't hurt me too bad, except for in my training to have a LIFESTYLE of healthy eating.

Well, I finally told him that, though I really appreciate his loving gestures, I would much rather him bring me a cantaloupe, a watermelon, other fruits (I love most - except STRAWBERRIES ARE A NO NO), cherub tomatoes, or even a small bouquet of flowers. He said he will try. He'll be out of town next week, so I will have a chance to get myself back on track. I've already planned menus that I will prepare and freeze on Saturday for the week ahead.

WOOHOO!! Can't wait! Though, believe me, I will miss DEAR HUBBY greatly!!

emoticon He just needs to be taught the New Lifestyle and the More Acceptable Gifts to give you. Be Patient and Persistent. Men CAN Learn New Things (I have been told!)

I'll wait and see if he remembers the fruit before I say he's a good fellow! emoticon
