Well I am going to have to get on the scale again and I am afraid I will not have lost at least a few pounds........ I feel smaller, I look like I have lost weight, I got into a smaller bathing suit, but my brain is telling me I have not lost enough weight, enough would be 1-2 pounds for me!
Why is this bugging me so much? Because I have been eating too much fruit on the Paleo diet, I just re read I have to limit my fruit to 1 serving per day if weight loss is my goal, yikes! I know I have been eating many more servings than that........today I have had 4 servings (1cup) of watermelon!
So I am going to weigh the third week of this month, after July 21 cause I have to go for labs again that week. I want to see what my A1c is..... so I have a week and a half to cut out the fruit. This is going to hurt, I have loved falling in love with fruit again, and now I have to give it up. Sheesh! Oh well,,,,,,,,, I have lost 15 pounds in the first 50 days of paleo. But I would like to lose 50 before my trip next June, so I am going to have to buckle down and do more Paleo strict than I have been...... more veggies and less fruit and more lean protein, which is usually chicken and fish, tonight is fish and veggy stir fry. NO fruit! LOL!!!!
