sparking two days!

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

Dear Sparkfriends,

I had been feeling rather un-sparky and kept telling myself I'd get back to it... to just do it. But we all know what can happen... This weekend was going to be a good time to really start... well, no. Why not? Just because. I did make it to zumba on Saturday morning and spent much of Sunday bike shopping!

Ok then, Monday! Um, no. Again, just didn't happen. I did, however, get to yoga on Monday morning.

Why yes, I think I did it! Tracked my food, stayed within decent ranges, and went to a delightfully strenuous hot yoga class, got to bed on time, drank more than enough water... Alright!

I've been on it so far and see no reason why I won't make it! I have a zumba class in an hour (though it won't be with my favorite instructor, I guess tonight is a good enough time to broaden my zumba horizons), will do some ab work after that. I have, however, been hungry all day... probably due to my recent increase in/ return to more frequent workouts! After zumba I may snack on some freshly barbequed salmon... I probably will! And probably snack on a few strawberries too. More water as well, of course!

I was just thinking about what to bring for lunch. I think some leftover salmon and I should have enough time to make a quinoa salad tonight. Last summer I was loving a Mediterranean inspired one, currently I don't have any feta or tomatoes so will stop at the grocery store on the way home to pick some up. Tomorrow should be another good sparking day! After work I'd like to go to a warm yin and yang yoga class.

Friday and the weekend...
I'm not going to worry about it for now.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Wednesday!
