Good Day

Today was only Day 2 of C25K & man did I hurt after Day 1. It may have been a mistake to begin on a hilly lakeside trail. Well, first of all I didn't have my headphones, normally this would have been enough to derail me, but I went home, got them and then just went to a trail closer to home than I planned. I HURT during my warm up walk and during the first run. I told myself I had to keep going. I didn't have to go fast, but I had to keep going. After the second run, my muscles miraculously stopped screaming at me! I completed the entire thing-- and didn't set any records. But, did impress myself. So then I went to TJ Maxx and bought a pair of capri workout pants and more nice workout socks:) Can't keep in that habit!

    I have wanted to do a 5 miles walk but never did so congrats. emoticon
