We've had major storms. Many areas had more than 3 inches of rain today alone.
My safety alert on my phone went off 2x in less than an hour.
The city of Clevelad put out a warning to stay off the streets as much as possible.
There are power outages, streets closed due to flooding and/or downed trees and wires.
One street I frequently use has collapsed as the hill has washed out from under it.
The storms are to be over this evening. (We've broken the record streak set in 1928 for continuous days of rain.
Fortunately, I am home now with my feet up.

Wow, wouldn't it be nice if we could spread the rain around? My state (New Mexico) is in a serious drought. Then, the rains cause flash floods. Can't win.

You too! Since you saw my video and visited my blog, you know how our last week has been!
For some reason I thought you lived in Columbus, where I am from. My husband is from the Cleveland area around Elyria/Lorraine/Vermilion areas.
Glad you made it home safe...driving in those storms really make me nervous! When it starts to pond on the road, is when it gets scary. We are now getting another big, bad storm here at home! So tired of it! emoticon

We are having the same rain problems around Asheville NC - and it's pouring again tonight. Average year to date - about 24 inches. So far this year we have had almost 47 inches, not counting what is coming down now. (At least it's not coming down as feet of snow!)
