Wasting time

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

Hmmm...SparkCoach has encouraged me to blog about how I might waste time in a day. My biggest "time suck" is definitely the internet. I could completely do without TV but I get pulled right into the internet every single day. I have recognized this as an issue long before now and I've developed some habits to help with this problem. I love "to-do" lists because they keep me focused and productive which in turn is uplifting to me. I have a day each week that I do nothing productive after work...usually Monday. :) Otherwise, I write my "to-do" list and do not sit down in front of the computer until after I've completed everything on my list. NOW I will include exercise as a "to-do".

It sounds as though you are true to yourself. Good for you! Once we recognize where we falter, we can remedy this.

I spend an awful lot of time on Spark People but I also take the time to exercise. In the evening, I watch TV with my hubby and niece because if I don't, my husband will come upstairs again to work. This is to ensure that he rests from time to time. This takes about 1 hour and a half to two hours. Let's face it, I get to relax also during that time without my computer in front of me.

Good luck on your journey! Hugs. Lise

Sounds like an excellent plan. The internet can be very time consuming if we don't control ourselves so doing some exercises instead is the thing to do.

Sounds like a plan! My time also gets sucked up by the internet. I rarely watch TV, but I sure can spend a lot of time here!
