This past week was kind of stressful and I was not feeling great. But I tried to keep my chin up and continue along on my path to a healthier me. I had a few days (3) that I felt HUNGRY!! And no amount of water or exercise or "keep my mind off of eating" did any good. On those days I ate over my caloric range just a little bit just to take the edge off and tried to not allow guilt to set in. I made sure I got ALL of that water in. I even found myself wanting water a few times. And that is a miracle in itself because I am NOT a water drinker.
I climbed on that scale today and BINGO!! I made it to double digits. I am so happy. The excitement was enough to get me through a stressful day at work with the kids and head off to the gym. I did my regular routine (treadmill) and added a new machine for me as well. And now as I sit here relaxing and exhausted in my living room, I am thinking about how proud I am of myself. I earned these new workout shorts this week.
