well this morning was my rest morning since I ran yesterday. However I am going to a run club tonight (YIKES!)
I was doing 6:1 intervals on my own (with Buster of course) and they do 10:1. I think I can I think I can. I'm a little worried to be honest, but all I can do is try my best. I like running with people, they meet Wednesday evenings and I prefer morning runs but I'm going to give it a try! What's the worst that could happen?
I walked to work this morning, walked home and back at lunch to let Buster out, and will walk home after work, get changed, then walk to run club! So already tons of walking in! They meet right at 6pm so I don't have a lot of time, so I decided to just have a snacking kind of day and fuel with lots of good food and lots of water to help with the run!
Breakfast two boiled eggs and raspberries 165 Calories
Mid morning snack, coffee and go pure bar 140 Calories
Right before my lunchtime walk I had apple and nut mix 200 Calories
Lunch, halibut, sweet potatoes, edemame 270 Calories
Afternoon snack, carrots and hummus 90 Calories
Pre-run snack, oatmeal 273 calories
and I will have banana/almond butter and whole wheat wrap for a post run snack 305 calories,
That's a total of 1443 calories today! I know it's a bit high but I'm doing 10:1 intervals for 5K tonight and already walked a lot! So I do think it's the right amount. So much snacking! haha
And of course can't forget to post a pic of my buddy Buster! I'll miss him on my run tonight, but the run club isn't dog friendly. We will get back to our morning run on Friday!
