I woke up this morning with a little pain in my shoulders. I think it is me sleeping wrong or something. It is gone now. I feel 100% okay. I did a 15 minute walk earlier around the apartment complex. It is a big square, and I did 3 laps. This left me a bit short of breath, but it was before I took my pills, so maybe that was it.
Yesterday at the hospital, they gave me some of my pills before I left there. My nurse was looking at 3-4 reports, and trying to tell me which ones I had taken, and what I still needed to take. I corrected her 3 times, since some of the pills, I had already taken, and others I take twice a day. She was trying to get me to take some of my pills I take during the day at night, and was getting confused. In the end, she just said to start with my regular pills in the morning...lol. ( not a happy laugh). i took my pills with my 5 egg mushroom omelette, and everything is okay. I did a bit of shopping at the store this morning, and set till Sunday.
I am having the mushroom omelettes for breakfast, and a granny Smith apple for a snack. Lunches will be ground beef chuck, and tomatoes, and Dinner will be 6 ozs of chicken breast, onions, and tomatoes, with 2 Tbsp olive oil. Total of 1,792 calories a day, 55 grams of carbs, 125 grams fat, and 114 grams of protein. It's all on my trackers. I cut out the beans, sausage, and fiber bars, and added the apple, and more butter/oil ( 2 T each ). I also found out I had double the fat listed for olive oil, which I manually entered, so instead of 66.7 % fat, I am down to 62.34%, and my carbs are up to 12.19%, and protein at 25.47%.
This is a huge drop in sodium. I am having a 1/4 tsp. of Krazy mixed up salt on my beef, which put me up to 1,071 mg of sodium, but much less than I tracked last week, and even less than it was when I added table salt, which I did not measure, or track.
The other thing they told me was to limit fluids to 1 liter a day. I can really do this. I am going to try to stick to a 20 oz water with my 3 meals, and my snack is an apple. That gets me to around 8 glasses, almost 2 liters, but I just can't seem to drop any lower. I drank my 20 oz water with breakfast, and already feel thirsty. Lunch is at 3, so I still have 2 hours to go. This is a big drop from before though. I was drinking 12-15 glasses of water a day. If I am really thirsty, I will split my apple in half, and have it halfway between my meals to get some fluids tomorrow, every 3 hours.
I plan on taking another 15 minute walk later, and doing some laundry. Then I will read a book till dinner, and then catch up on some TV. I am reading The Sign by Raymond Khoury. Got Warehouse 13 finale, and then baseball game tonight. Trying to stay awake for the entire day, so I sleep better tonight, even if I pass out at 10. I tend to nap for 3 hours 2-3 times a day, instead of getting one long sleep. They told me to try to get 8 hours in a row.
Except for the back pain, for whatever reason, whenever I lay down for a few hours, I feel great. I can address that problem, knowing it isn't my heart. I have never had back pain before, so don't know why it is happening.
