I lost 6 pounds this weigh in. If I subtract that from my starting weight of 298.5, with 12 weeks of the challenge, that brings my weekly average I need to lose down to 2.9 pounds to reach my 10% goal. That looks a little better. Hu-la-la! The Hula Girl Challenge has gotten off to a great start. I've noticed from my past efforts to lose weight that the week after a good loss can be a danger zone for me. I tend to let my guard down and cut myself a little slack because I lost a lot. Then I stay the same, or even gain a little at the next weigh in. I have to change my way of thinking. I'm not giving myself permission to slack a little this time. I'm going to be consistent, keep up the pace, and just keep doing what I’m doing. If I do that next week will be great too.
