There are literally no excuses to not get some fitness in each day. I get bored easily so I like a lot of different sources for workouts. Gone are the days where I do a set of DVD's for a full month. Now at the snap of the finger (or click of the mouse) I can get any and every kind of workout I have ever imagined.
I currently pull workouts from the following sources:
Skimble Phone (Android) App
Various free websites (SP, Doyogawithme, etc. etc. ETC.)
I can find anything from a 10 minute HIIT training to a full length workout... so easily.
That's the good part of technology.
Sometimes too much of a good thing can be... umm... annoying.
When I go for a run I currently have (4) YES FOUR devices on my person. Ipod for tunes. Phone for mileage/route tracking (mapmyrun app). Heart rate monitor and watch for calorie burnage. And Fitbit pedometer for total steps. So as you can see sometimes it could be prohibitive to take a run if it takes all this work just to get going! I am working on sometimes taking off without all the "stuff" but usually my need to KNOW DETAILS wins out.
But... take advantage of what is out there friends... it's NEVER been easier to access fitness resources!!!
