Lower Focus and Ab Intervals done! Lower Focus absolutely targets everything from the waist below. I feel that with this workout, my thighs will definitely tone up and get slimmer! Now as great as I feel when this workout is over, I'm still grunting and cursing Shaun T while I'm doing the exercises! haha The moves burn but that's what makes them effective, right? If this is how I feel with Lower Focus in Alpha phase, I can't imagine what he'll put you through in Beta phase!
Since today was double day, I did Ab Intervals immediately after Lower Focus. This week's double day was much better then last week's double day because the focus was on different parts of the body. Last week was Lower Focus and Cardio, which both maxed out my legs! However, with today's workouts, I worked my legs and then was able to work out my abs which is another area I need improvement on. In Ab Intervals, Shaun T has you perform several ab exercises and then he has you do a cardio recovery move which is a definite welcome after some of the ab moves he puts you through! Some of the moves are still difficult for me, mainly cause I can't keep my head off the ground because I feel the strain in my neck, BUT even when I do modify the moves I still feel it in my abs. Hopefully this program will help me achieve the washboard abs I've been longing for! :D
